Welcome Back! I hope you all enjoyed a week off from school.

Family Fun Day

On February 28, 2009 from 1:00-3:00 PM the board will be hosting a family fun day in the main room of the school. The theme of the day is "Mardi Gras." The cost is $5 per child or $10 per family. There will be food, fun, games and crafts for all to enjoy. Friends and family are more than welcome to attend.

Dinner Auction

Our dinner auction is days away! Ladies, please join us at H.R. Singletons on March 5, 2009 at 7:00PM. Bring a few friends and enjoy a night out. There will be plenty of raffles and prizes.

Get on Board with the Board

Please join the board of Directors to learn about board positions on March 11, 2009. There are several open positions for the '09-'10 school year. We look forward to having you "On Board."

Favorite Fella Breakfast

On March 28 (Pre K) and March 29, 2009 (Nursery) we will be hosting the annual "Favorite Fellas" breakfast for Nursery and
Pre K classes. Each Nursery and Pre K child will invite one of his/her favorite fellas for breakfast, a craft and playtime. Detailed invitations will follow.

Director's Sessions and Office Hours

The board has granted me one more session per week. Therefore I will be at the school 4 days per week. I have added Tuesday morning to my schedule. I will on occasion alternate Wednesdays and Fridays in order to participate in the Two of Us classes.

I will be in the building Monday/Wednesday/Thursday from 8:45AM -12:00 PM and Tuesdays from 9:00AM-2:45PM. Please feel free to meet with me during open office hours 9:00-9:30AM or 11:30AM-12:00PM Monday through Thursday. You are more than welcome to schedule formal meetings with me at alternate times. Summer Registration

If you are interested in "Summer Fun" at BNS please contact Ms Sara. The upstairs program is for Nursery and Pre K children (those that have either completed N or Pre K during '08-'09 school year). The downstairs program is for incoming Nursery and incoming 2 year old children.

Parking

Thank you for being considerate of our Lexington Avenue neighbors this year. I have been approached by several neighbors and thanked for our efforts.
It has come to my attention that parents are parking on the driveway and in front of the driveway at arrival and dismissal. Staff members have been prevented from parking in the driveway in the morning and have also been blocked at dismissal. Please understand that we have staff members coming and going at different times of the day. I appreciate your cooperation.
